Obituary

With profound respect and love, we remember the life of Seairra Ashley Davidda Minor, who passed away on July 11, 2026, in Des Moines, Iowa. Born on November 23, 1985, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Seairra’s presence was a source of light and encouragement to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Seairra’s journey began in Tulsa, but it was in Des Moines that she built her life, touching many through her warmth, creativity, and kindness. She attended Roosevelt High School and continued her academic pursuits with culinary studies at Des Moines Area Community College, always striving for personal growth and new opportunities.

Seairra channeled her entrepreneurial spirit as the owner and operator of SimplyAnything LLC, a venture through which she expressed her boundless creativity. She crafted screen-printed clothing and scented candles, infusing each item with dedication and imagination. Her work brought joy to her family and friends, leaving a legacy of artistic flair and determined ambition.

Family was at the very heart of Seairra’s life. She was a loving mother. Every decision she made and every battle she fought was for her children. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Kairo, a role she cherished deeply.

She is lovingly survived by her children: Ashawn, Amir, Erica, Providence, and Iyanu; her grandchild, Kairo; her father, David Pickens; her brother, Markus Ford-Serck (wife, Daja); her sisters, Cassidy Serck, Omegan Minor, and Shantell McGee; her longtime partner, Clance Stallworth; her grandmother, Allene Meadors; and her siblings David Bowe, Ta Sheka Ballard, Quantell Robison, Tiyanka, Kenon, Deonta Ballard, Keauna Beard, Kevon Moore, Daquan Pickens, Davion Pickens, and La Davia Pickens, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends who will forever treasure her memory, carrying forward her memory and values.

Seairra is also lovingly remembered by those family members who preceded her in death: her mother, Milissa Serck, and her father, Gregory Serck. Their spirits now reunite with hers in peace.

A woman of many talents and deep devotion, Seairra found great fulfillment in her hobbies and passions. She enjoyed raising her beloved children, creating delicious meals in her kitchen, and finding joy in singing karaoke with friends and family. These simple pleasures brought her happiness, and she shared that happiness generously with those around her.

Seairra Ashley Davidda Minor’s life was a testament to strength, resilience, and heartfelt connection. She will be missed dearly and remembered with enduring affection by her family, friends, and all who were inspired by her gentle, creative spirit.
