Roger Leon Dameron, born on January 13, 1958, embarked on his eternal journey on June 21, 2026. Born to Drexel and Joetta (Oliver) Dameron in Columbia, Missouri, Roger's life was a testament to dedication and passion.

After relocating to Des Moines, Iowa, Roger devoted 40 years of his life as a skilled machinist, a vocation where his precision and craftsmanship shone brightly. Upon retirement in 2025, he embraced the joys of life alongside his cherished wife, Connie Dameron.

Roger's spirit resonated with music; he found solace in playing the guitar, a melody enthusiast whose love for basketball and bike riding marked his vibrant life. His legacy is carried forward by his beloved wife, Connie, and his devoted children: Telisha (Scott) Mozee, Roger Leon “Jr” Mozee, Toinette Mozee, Ronzell Dameron, Laron Dameron, and Blair Oakley.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Drexel and Joetta Dameron, whose memories he held dear.

Family, friends, and those touched by Roger's warmth are invited to honor his memory at a visitation on June 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. at ___ Church. He will be laid to rest at Glendale Cemetery, a serene resting place fitting for a life well-lived and profoundly loved.
