Throughout her life, she had the opportunity to visit Louisiana, Virginia, Texas, Las Vegas, Detroit, and other places like a cruise to the Bahamas, creating memories that she carried with her.
She was a talented seamstress who took pride in making garments for herself, her daughter and the other young sisters in the Muhammad Mosque. She was also a gifted cook and baker who loved preparing pasta dishes, bean soup, and bean pies.
She even found a special place in her heart for the family dog, Knox. Who became another beloved companion in her life.

Her Legacy
Those who knew Regina will remember her not simply for where she worked, where she traveled, or what she accomplished, but for how charitable she was.
She was a giving woman. She made sure her loved ones were fed. She made sure they had clothes. She made sure they had a roof over their heads. She called to check on all her nieces and nephews to make sure they had everything they needed. Her love was expressed through action from her very own beloved heart.
Regina had a smile that could brighten your entire day. Her laughter was unmistakable—a beautiful, joyful laugh that could be heard from miles away. Her presence brought warmth into a room. Those who loved her will carry the sound of that laughter and the memory of that smile with them forever.
She lived a life of faith, love, family, learning, service, and generosity. She gave pieces of herself to the people around her. Those pieces will remain long after her physical presence is gone.
Her children will remember their mother. Her grandchildren will carry her name. Her siblings will remember their eldest sister. Her husband will carry the memories of a love that began in childhood and lasted a lifetime. Her extended family, friends, and Muslim community will remember a sister who served, learned, taught, loved, and gave.
Though she has returned to Allah, her legacy remains in every life she touched, every garment she sewed, every meal she prepared, every person she checked on, every laugh she shared, and every act of kindness she gave.
May Allah forgive her for her shortcomings, accept her good deeds, grant her mercy and peace, and reward her for the love and service she gave throughout her life.
May Allah grant strength, comfort, and patience to her husband, children, grandchildren, mother, grandmother, siblings, extended family, friends, and all who mourn her passing.
She was the Queen of our hearts. Within our hearts, her memory will always remain.
May Allah be pleased with her and grant her the highest station in Jannah. May the Angels take care of her in the Hereafter, Ameen.
