With heavy hearts, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of the beloved Neoma Ramirez. The world feels a little quieter without her warmth and light.
Neoma Ramirez, 46, passed away on March 22, 2026. She was born on April 23, 1979, in Yokosuka, Japan, and lived a life filled with creativity, compassion, charisma, and an unwavering love for the friends and family in her life.
Neoma was a creative and artistic soul. She loved listening to music and found great power and meaning in song lyrics. The music she listened to often sparked her creativity, inspiring her to write and create beautiful works of art that reflected the depth of her emotions. She found comfort and solace in nature. Her favorite place to be was near the water—especially at the beach. She also loved thunderstorms and found peace in the rain. Neoma would pause to soak in the warmth of the sun on her face and would often go outside to feel or dance in the storms. She was a true free spirit, and her essence will continue to live free within nature—among the beach, the sunshine, the rain, in music, through her creations, and most importantly, within the hearts of those she loved.
Her compassion and sense of justice guided much of her life. Neoma was passionate about criminal justice and had returned to school to pursue a career in law. She cared deeply for humanity and used her voice to stand up for others, always following what she believed was right.
Above all, being a mother was Neoma's greatest accomplishment and the role she was most proud of. Her daughters, Mia and Sofia, were the heart of her world. To Neoma, there was no achievement greater than raising her girls, and she loved them beyond measure. She was endlessly proud of them and found immense joy in being their mom.
Neoma was also a loyal friend and a caring sister to her younger siblings—Carissa, Cheree, Sarena, Keoma, Kali, and Arden—each of whom she cherished deeply. Her nieces and nephews—Everett, Zain, Isla, Pryderi, and Kian—brought her laughter and joy; being their aunt was a role she held close to her heart. Her parents, Tisa and Raymond, were incredibly important to her, and her love for them was one of great force.
Neoma's family and friends were priceless to her. Making memories alongside those she loved was one of the most important things in her life, and she deeply cherished every moment shared with those in her circle.
Neoma touched so many lives with her love, creativity, and spirit. Though her time here was far too short, her memory will forever be cherished by those she leaves behind. Neoma's love for her family, friends, and the world around her was boundless. Please join us in celebrating her life by sharing your stories, memories, and photos on her memorial page.
