Lori was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on August 30, 1964, to Beverly Hyslope. Lori married Donald Anderson, and together they spent many years building a family before going their own separate ways. She later worked at Wendy's for over 16 years, serving as a manager, before retiring early due to COPD. Lori loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching comedy shows, game shows, Wheel of Fortune, completing word searches, playing casino games on her phone, and occasionally relaxing with tequila and a splash of lemon. Those left to cherish her memory include her spouse, Joseph Rogers of Des Moines, IA; her children, Melissa Glann of Cedar Rapids, IA, Donald "Hank" Anderson III of Des Moines, IA, and Jason Anderson of Des Moines, IA; her grandchildren, Hazel (Matthew) Drake of Cedar Rapids, IA, Savannah Glann of Cedar Rapids, IA, Allyson Anderson of Des Moines, IA, Abigail Anderson of Des Moines, IA, Brynlee Anderson of Des Moines, IA, and Everly Anderson of Des Moines, IA; and her great-grandson, Daylen Drake of Cedar Rapids, IA. She is also survived by her siblings, James Hyslope of Des Moines, IA, Janette Henderson of Des Moines, IA, Steve Baxter-Collins of Oklahoma, Paul Collins of Des Moines, IA, Amy Weiny of Des Moines, IA, and Charles Weiny of Des Moines, IA; along with many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Lori was preceded in death by her mother and her husband, Donald. Memorial contributions may be directed to her family.
