Fela Brown, aged 42, departed this world on June 17, 2026. A cherished resident of Des Moines, Fela's life will be celebrated at Mission Temple Church, with visitation on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor McNear. His final resting place will be at Glendale Cemetery.

Born on October 13, 1983, to Guy Clark and Tina Brown, Fela was a devoted member of his community and a true enthusiast of film and music. His passion led him to become an avid supporter of local artists and live shows, where he found joy and shared his spirit with others.

As a beloved member of the Mission Temple Church of God in Christ, Fela's faith was a cornerstone of his life.

He is now reunited with those who preceded him in death, including his mother, Tina; grandparents, Littleton and Lillie Mae Clark; Frances and Stanley Brown; and his beloved daughter, Tourianna Moon-Brown.

Fela leaves behind a legacy of love with his father, Guy; stepmother, Mary Clark; children, Toure and Taeyanna Moon-Brown; siblings, Tonya Wilson, Rataya Thomas, Brion Perkins, Trishtina Robinson, Tina Clark, Mary Clark, Lillie Clark; and cherished granddaughter, Nazaria Moon-Brown.
