Donnalee Jewel Thompson

Donnalee Jewel Thompson was born February 1, 1937 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of Ruth Slaten and D. Earl King. She was a life long resident of Des Moines.

After high school, Donnalee joined the United States military as a WAC. She was honorably discharged in 1956.

Donnalee was a 'Jill of all trades'. She was a magazine sales supervisor by day, but away from the job she could do anything. She was an interior decorator, owned a craft store, did wood working, collected antiques and raised a family all at the same time.

Donnalee passed away July 22, 2017. She will be sorely missed by her family who are planning a private memorial for her.Private Services
