De'Tavion Marques Dupree Levi, 28, of Des Moines, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Hendersons Funeral & Cremation Care in Des Moines. Immediately following his visitation, his Homegoing Celebration will begin at 3:00 p.m. De'Tavion was born on October 9, 1996, in Davenport, Iowa, to Denise (McElrath) and Elvis Rush. He grew up in Davenport, where he attended Central High School and graduated with the class of 2015. De'Tavion loved spending time with his kids and was great with all kids. He also enjoyed playing basketball, making music, rapping, being the light of any party, and brightening people's day. Those left to cherish his loving memory are his children, Luna Levi, Aziah Levi, and Amari Levi; parents Denise and Elvis Rush; siblings Scooter Mays and Rayshon Mays; grandparents Theresa Wagner and Shannon Wagner; aunts Yolanda Echols, LeToya McElrath, Theresha Wagner, and Shannon Wagner; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his uncle Sly Watson and cousin Antwun Echols. Memorial contributions may be directed to his family.
