Byron Hayter

Byron Thurston Hayter was born on July 30, 1949 to Luther and Bertie (Thurston) Hayter, in Des Moines, IA. He was educated in the Des Moines Public School District and attended North High School.



Bryon worked in several fields throughout his lifetime but spent the majority of his working years at John Deere and American Can.



In his free time, Byron enjoyed laughing and joking with his many friends, reading books about history and playing the saxophone.



On March 12, 2016 Byron stepped from time into eternity. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gretchen Johnson, his grandparents, 2 nephews, 2 nieces and 2 cousins.



Left to cherish Byron's memories are his sons, Byron Lowery, Montez Hayter; 7 grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Hayter, Tamarra Bonwell and Kevin Hayter and a host of other relatives and friends.
