**Celebrating the Life of Aurielle Elaine Goldmon**
Aurielle Elaine Goldmon of West Des Moines, Iowa, went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2025. Her homegoing celebration will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 1:30 P.M. at Elpis Christian Fellowship, 4260 NW 6th Dr., Des Moines, IA. Bishop-Designate Tammy L. Harris will officiate, and she will be laid to rest at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.
Aurielle Elaine Goldmon, a bright light, born on June 28, 2022, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Briana Williams and Curtis Goldmon III. Aurielle was born just two minutes after her twin brother, August Stephen Goldmon, but immediately embraced the role of a protective big sister. With a fearless heart, she often took it upon herself to guide August, even showing him how to escape his crib—a true testament to her spirited nature.
Her journey began with challenges as she spent a short time in the NICU. Even then, her strong-willed personality showed through; her NICU nurse affectionately described her as “sassy,” recalling tales of her feisty attempts to remove her oxygen mask and IV, prompting a call for reinforcements.
Aurielle faced numerous obstacles with remarkable determination, intelligence, and courage, embodying the spirit of resilience. In 2023, her love for joyful gatherings blossomed, especially during family parties at Aunt Rachelle's house. Her infectious enthusiasm was clear. Whenever her mother passed 11th Street—she would eagerly request, “Mom, I want to go to the party!”
Food was one of life’s simple pleasures for Aurielle, who navigated her food allergies with a brave spirit. While sweets were not her favorites, she reserved a special place in her heart for Krispy Kreme Donuts.
Aurielle’s love for music and dance was evident! She found joy in all forms of expression. Her favorite movie, *Annie*, inspired countless sing-alongs, and her cherished baby dolls—Sally, Jasmine, and Betty—were often part of her imaginative play. Aurielle had a special connection with her faith, frequently expressing her longing to see Jesus, a sentiment that reflected her joyful spirit and love for church, especially at her favorite place, Elpis Christian Fellowship, where she felt truly at home.
Aurielle's legacy of love will continue with her devoted parents, Briana Williams and Curtis Goldmon III; her siblings, Amariana Brightwell and August Goldmon; grandparents, Janell Williams, Pam and Stephen Long, Curtis (Vivian) Goldmon II; aunts O’tjya Crayton, Shayla and Courtney Goldmon, Yolanda Smith, and Bridget Bright; uncles JaVaci Long, Dontrell (Molly) Ducker, alongside countless family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Joseph “Butch” Williams and Jonas (Jean) Byers; great- great-grandparents Effie Phillips and John (Barbara) Long.
Although her time with us was brief, her spirit left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Aurielle enriched our lives with her vibrant spirit and will forever be remembered as a shining star who touched the hearts of many..
Hendersons Funeral & Cremation Care has been entrusted with the delicate care of Aurielle and her loved ones as they navigate this difficult time.
