Aaron Christopher Henry Jr. was born on June 26, 1990, to Aaron Henry-Bey Sr. and Fairness Smith in St. Louis, Missouri.
Aaron was educated at an early age in the St. Louis school system (Rockwood School District) and continued his education in Des Moines, Iowa, where he later received his GED. He worked as a retail clerk.
Aaron was very close to God. Although he did not have a church home, he kept God close in everything he did.
Aaron was a loving and caring young man who always had a smile on his face, showing that missing tooth—something that later helped inspire the nickname "Buck" (lol). He brought so much joy to those around him to be in his presence was a blessing. He loved music, and being a rapper was his passion. Music spoke to his mind and his soul—the power of it truly moved him. He also enjoyed football and was known for being "cold" on the field.
Every person Aaron encountered, he made a difference in their life. He loved his children deeply, and family meant everything to him. He was truly a family man. Aaron was a devoted brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend who loved those who loved him back.
He is preceded in eternal rest by his father, Aaron Henry-Bey Sr.; his grandmothers, Karen Stanfield and Shirley Townsend Fannie B. Smith and his grandfather, Aaron Henry uncle Rudolph Henry, Aunt Carolyn Thomas Aunt Darlene Henry Aunt Elouise Beard
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Fairness (Terry) Young of Des Moines, Iowa; his brother, Anthony (Josie) Joiner of Des Moines, Iowa; his sister, Keshia (Bobby) Jones of St. Louis, Missouri; his seven children, Nausear, Daeshun, Ehimiyea, Avionna, Kaylee, Aari'yel,Aaron. Nine nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins uncles Aunts and friends.
Aaron, also known as "Buck BangBang," will forever be missed and loved by all who knew him.
Memorial will be held at the Grandview-Mahaffey Enclosed Shelter located at 3230 Easton Blvd., Des Moines, IA 50317 on May 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
